Like the 2017 season, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta got equal points at the group stage and got first and second positions on the PSL points table. Both teams won seven games, but Zalmi got the first spot because of the net run rate. Islamabad United and Karachi Kings got third and fourth, respectively. Multan Sultan’s fifth and Lahore Qalandars stood last PSL 4 Points table.

PSL 4 Qualifier Match Scorecard
In the first Qualifier of PSL 4, Quetta Gladiator won the match against Peshawar Zalmi and qualified for the final of PSL. Shane Watson’s 71 runs helped QG to set a total of 186 runs on the board.
PZ succeeded in scoring 176 runs in the run chase. They get an average start by openers; after that middle order collapsed and failed to add any value to the scoreboard. But West Indian legends Kieron Pollard and Darren Sammy tried their best to chase this total. Pollard scored 44 runs on 22 balls, and Sammy 46 on 21 balls.

After losing their qualifier game against Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi faced off against the champion of last season Islamabad United in the second eliminator in order to secure a spot in the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018.
In 2nd eliminator, Zalmi bounced back with their batting strength and made 214 runs. Kamran Akmal, a consistent performer for PZ from the first season, scored 74 runs, and Imam-ul-Haq also played an inning of 50 runs.
