1. Rajasthan Royals 226/6 Vs KXIP (2020)
In IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals Chased the highest target of 224 runs set by Kings XI Punjab. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal scored a brilliant partnership of 100 runs on 53 balls for the first wicket to set the highest target.
In reply, Rajasthan Royals batted superbly and chased the target in 19.3 overs. Sanju Samson led the Royals batting from the front and scored 85 runs on 42 balls. At the end of the match, he was announced as the player of the match.
2. Mumbai Indians 219/6 Vs CSK (2021)
In a league match of IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings set the target of 219 runs for Mumbai Indians. Ambati Rayudu was the leading run-scorer from Chennai Super Kings who scored 72 runs on 27 balls.
In reply, Kieron Pollard scored an aggressive 87 runs on 34 balls to reach the target in the last over. He was given the player of the match award for his superb knock that resulted in Mumbai’s victory. This is still MI’s highest run chase in IPL history.
3. Rajasthan Royals 217/7 Vs DC (2008)
This was the highest run chase and the first 200+ runs chase in IPL. Deccan Chargers set the target of 215 runs for the Royals. Andrew Symonds led from the front and smashed 117 runs to set a big total for Rajasthan Royals.
In reply, Rajasthan Royals chased down the target on the last ball of the innings. Yusuf Pathan smashed 61 runs on 28 balls and helped the Royals score a total of 217 runs on the last ball of their chase. At the end of the match, Yusuf Pathan was announced as man of the match.
4. Delhi Daredevils 214/3 Vs GL (2017)
Gujrat Lions posted a big total of 208 runs for Delhi Daredevils in a league match of IPL 2017. Dinesh Karthik and Suresh Raina scored big innings of 65 and 77 runs respectively which helped Gujrat Lions to set a big total.
In reply, Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant’s aggressive innings helped Delhi Daredevils to reach the target in the 17th over. At the end of the match, Rishabh Pant was announced as the player of the match for smashing innings of 97 runs.
5. Kings XI Punjab 214/3 Vs SRH (2014)
In IPL 2014, Sunrisers Hyderabad in a match against Kings XI Punjab posted a big total of 205 runs in 20 overs. Naman Ojha was the hero of SRH’s innings who scored 79 runs on 36 balls with a strike rate of 219.
In reply, Kings XI Punjab chased down the target in the 18th over with the help of cracking innings of Wriddhiman Saha and Glenn Maxwell. At the end of the match, Wriddhiman Saha was given the player of the match award for his quick 54 runs on 26 balls.
6. Lucknow Super Giants 211/4 Vs CSK (2022)
Shivam Dube had an outstanding season for CSK in IPL 2022. One of his leading performances was scoring 49 runs in a match against Chennai Super Kings. Hence, Chennai Super Kings posted a big total of 210 runs.
In reply, Evin Lewis batted superbly and helped Lucknow Super Giants chase down the target in the last over. Ewin Lewis, who scored 55 runs on 23 balls, was given the player of the match award.
7. Chennai Super Kings 208/5 Vs RCB (2012)
IPL 2012 was the peak season for Chris Gayle’s IPL career. He scored 68 runs on 35 balls in a high-scoring match against Chennai Super Kings and helped RCB to post a big total of 205 runs.
In reply, Chennai Super Kings chased the target on the last ball. MS Dhoni and Faf Du Plessis were the hero of Chennai’s innings and scored 41 and 71 runs respectively. This was the highest CSK run chase in IPL 2012 season.

In IPL 2022, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a big total of 205 runs for Punjab Kings in the league stage of the season. Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli were the highest scorers, scoring 88 and 41 runs respectively.
In reply, Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan helped Punjab Kings to reach the target. But Odean Smith won Man of the Match for quick 25 runs on 8 balls.
