The Los Angeles Knight Riders are Knight Riders Group’s fourth T20 franchise. Their T20 franchise portfolio began in 2008 with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. With Tobago Knight Riders in the Carebian Premier League, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the UAE International T20 League, and now Los Angeles Knight Riders in the US T20 League, they have spread around the globe.

They have chosen a few top performers to represent them at various T20 competitions. Sunil Narine has been a vital member of Knight Riders for almost a decade. He had many match-winning innings for the West Indies Cricket Team and KKR in the IPL. Due to his match winning performances, Knight Riders have selected him for every league.
Similarly, Andre Russel has been playing for KKR for many years and was once again selected for Major League Cricket. KKR also had Jason Roy and Luckie Fergusson in their initial squad. Surprisingly, Jason Roy has declined an English Cricket Board contract to play for the LA Knight Riders in the MLC 2023.
The other two foreign players chosen by the LA Knight Riders are Australia’s Adam Zampa and New Zealand’s Martin Guptill.

The Los Angeles Knight Riders have selected 17 players for the MLC 2023 season. Seven overseas players and ten local players got picked in the Major League Draft in March. They still have a wild card that allows them to select any international player during league matches.

Loa Angeles Knight Riders Batting and Bowling Coaches
LAKR has not appointed anyone for the position of coaches in MLC. However, it appears that they are eager to hire the same staff who worked in IPL 2023.
Chandrakant Pandit, a well-known domestic coach, can be named as the head coach of the Los Angeles Knight Riders. Former Australian player and KKR assistant coach David Hussey can be hired as LAKR’s batting coach in Major League 2023.

Los Angesles is bringing the same color scheme to Major League Cricket. The base color of the LAKR official kit will be purple, with the player’s name, team logo, and sponsors painted in gold.
