PSL 8 Silver Category Foreign Players List 2023

With every season, PSL is touching the next level of Quality Cricket. Many players want to showcase their talent in one of the biggest Cricketing gala in the world. Recently PCB revealed a list of foreign players in the Silver category for 2023.

More than 240 players register themselves in the PSL draft for the silver category. Players from different countries are trying to make their place in the league. Keep in mind these players are only from the silver category, and PSL has almost five categories. Players from all cricketing nations register as either test-playing nations or Associate teams.

A few prominent players in the silver category draft are; Ravi Bopara and Haseeb Hameed from England, Shafiul Islam and Nasum Ahmed from Bangladesh, Abdul Rahmani and Aftab Alam from Afghanistan, and Akila Dhananjaya and Wickramasingha from Srilanka. Many players from south Africa, UAE, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Australia are registered for PSL 2023.

PSL Silver Category 2023 Price

A player from the silver category usually gets from 15000 USD to 18000$. In PKR this is between 3.4m PKR to 4.1m PKR. Silver is one of the lowest categories after Emerging, where players usually get a salary of about 1.7m in PKR.

How Many Foreign Players Can a Team Pick in the Silver Category?

Each team can pick up to 5 players in the Silver category. These can be local or foreign players. A team should have at least three players in total from the Gold, silver, and platinum categories in PSL.
