Sachin Tendulkar has scored most fifties 15 in World Cup history. At the World Cup, every batsman desires to score a century in every single match. Only a few of them stand lucky to fulfil this desire while the rest of them struggle to do so. So sometimes the importance of fifty exceeds the importance of a century. Javed Miandad holds the record for scoring most fifties in the ODI World Cup for Pakistan. He is also leading runs scored for Pakistan in the ODI World Cup. He scored eight fifties in three ODI World Cups from 1983 to 1992.
